One day retreat meditation & adopt and plant a tree campaign was held earlier this year on the 12th March, 2016.
 

Sponsor a tree which will be planted at the Taiping Bodhi Center. By contributing to the greening of this peaceful forest haven, you are not only helping the environment, but you are also making an offering directly to the Three Jewels as the whole environment is created for growth of the Buddha Dharma.

Trees provide a host of benefits whether they are planted in your own back yard or across the globe. Trees can, like sponges, help sequester carbon and thereby reduce the impact of man-made CO2 emissions. Locally, trees provide habitat for wildlife, food for people and animals, and stabilize the soil. A gift of a tree lasts for generations.
